And my awesome friend Ruth’s cupcake cutie flatmates, Tom, Ricky & Jim are no exception.

I can’t decide which one is my favorite…Tom with his rock-chiseled jaw and hunky stubble? Ricky with his JBF-tousled locks and impish grin? Jim with his male model poise and come-hither confidence??? 

Ruth, you are truly spoilt for choice. 

The holidays have been busy and the cupcake consumption has gone down in favor of pies and puddings. 

Luckily I’ve kept myself busy and knit a bowtie. Previously featured cupcake cutie, Paul, models it here.

CupcakeLeeds shares with us this short little film from their last Ironcupcake baking competition in Leeds…and they’re not ordinary cupcakes, they’re MACHO CUPCAKES!! Think Guinness, dark chocolate, Baileys, and whiskey for ingredients, and my personal fav, a sponge cupcake shaped like a hamburger!

Ironcupcake: Leeds celebrates its first birthday with a macho cupcakes competition. Ironcupcake is a worldwide baking baking competition which currently only has two branches in the UK; one in Leeds and one in London. 

David Bennett is a cute boy and the newly crowned cupcake champion of Great Britain!!

He won the coveted title with his scrummy banana and mango cupcakes (!!!) which you can get at his shop, Sunshine Bakery, in Leeds. 

As if this boy weren’t already cute enough, this description of the cupcake below brought me to my knees:

David’s winning cupcake is a luscious sponge made of toasted ground almonds, banana puree, mango puree and muscovado sugar, with a delicious topping of mascarpone, caramelised banana puree, muscovado sugar and rum.

My household is like an all-star lineup of cuteness.

I fed my favorite boys, Anthony, Clemens, and Scott cupcakes this morning to go with their coffee—except Anthony, he was a bit late to the table and only got a scone.
